**Privacy Policy for ProteinDiag**

ProteinDiag ("the App") is a protein tracking application developed by ProteinDiag. This page is used to inform visitors regarding my policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information if anyone decided to use my App.

If you choose to use my App, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation with this policy. The Personal Information that I collect is used for providing and improving the App. I will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

## Information Collection and Use

The App does NOT collect any personal information. All data is stored locally on your device only.

The App may collect information you explicitly choose to enter, including:
- Food names and protein amounts
- Meal types and timestamps
- Body weight measurements
- Water intake data
- Custom food entries
- Daily protein and calorie goals
- Onboarding preferences (weight, height, age, activity level)

All of this information is stored **locally on your device** using Android's Room database and SharedPreferences. No data is transmitted to any server, third-party service, or analytics platform.

## No Internet Permission Required

The App does not require an internet connection and does not request the INTERNET permission in its Android manifest. Your data cannot leave your device.

## Third-Party Services

The App does NOT use any third-party services, analytics, advertising networks, or cloud storage. There are no SDKs from Google Analytics, Firebase, AdMob, Facebook, or any other third-party integrated into the App.

## Data Storage

All your data is stored locally on your device in the following formats:
- **Room Database:** Entry records, weight measurements, custom foods
- **SharedPreferences:** User preferences, goals, favorite foods, onboarding status

This data persists on your device as long as the App is installed. Uninstalling the App will delete all stored data.

## Data Export

You can export your entry history to a CSV file manually through the App's Settings screen. This exported file is stored on your device and is not automatically sent anywhere. You may share it with your coach, doctor, or anyone you choose.

## Backup and Restore

You can export a full backup of your data as a JSON file through the App's Settings screen. This backup includes all entries, weight measurements, custom foods, favorites, and preferences. The backup file is stored on your device.

## Children's Privacy

This App does not address anyone under the age of 13. I do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If I discover that a child under 13 has provided me with personal information, I will immediately delete this from my servers.

## Changes to This Privacy Policy

I may update my Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. I will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
